About Pennie Mae Cartawick

 

Although I have been painting many years, I took some time off to pursue my book career. I mainly paint in oil or acrylic and my style is diverse which includes: Abstract, Impressionism, Realism, and Modern Contemporary art.

I am a best selling author of over 50 books and short stories in both the fiction and nonfiction genres. I am, perhaps, best know for my new Sherlock Holmes book series mysteries.

 

I was born in the city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England.

Shortly after graduating high school, I worked as a model and attended Shirecliffe College for Drama. Thereafter, I attended Stannington College for English, Art, Communication Skills and Photography. I then moved to London in my early twenties, where I studied and attained a career as a Beauty Therapist.

I migrated to Florida in 1993, where I has been living ever since.
